It includes an easy guided 30-40 minute walk
through the 'Heritage Trail' at Paradise then a journey by 4WD coach via a scenic
back-road route to Glenorchy before returning to Queenstown.
Jet Boat Safari:
Perfect for those that wish to experience the longest
jet boat ride available in the region. This journey offers
you 3 full hours of classic jet boat action as your expert
driver negotiates the shifting shallow braided channels
of the magnificent glacier-fed Dart River.
From the comfort of our fully equipped jet boats,
you’ll discover the spectacular beauty that makes up
the unforgettable Dart River scenery, as well as have
the option of ashort walk to hiddin rock pools
deep in Mt. Aspiring National Park.
Dart River Funyak Safari:
The Funyak Safari is the most intimate way to explore
and experience every aspect of this amazing area.
First of all you take an exciting 1 1/4 hours up the
Dart River by jet boat; then, you’ll disembark to begin
your Funyak journey in one of their unique inflatable
'Funyak' canoes.
After full instructions, you'll be free to paddle and drift (under the watchful eye of
your professional guide) for a spectacular two hours downstream.
You'll stop amongst the ancient beech forest to enjoy a wilderness buffet lunch, explore the hidden side streams, and the dramatic chasms of the beautiful Rockburn, before continuing downstream to paradise, where you'll be taken by 4WD coach to Glenorchy.
